This Privacy Policy explains how GymWorkoutSpinner (“the App”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the App.

1) Summary

  • Your workout data is stored on your device. GymWorkoutSpinner does not require an account and does not upload your gyms, workouts, or exercise logs to our servers.

  • Notifications are optional. If you enable notifications, the App can send local reminders (e.g., rest timer reminders). We do not use notifications for advertising.

  • No analytics/crash tracking (as currently configured). If this changes, we will update this policy.

2) Information We Collect

2.1 Information you enter into the App

You may enter information such as:

  • Gym names and selected equipment

  • Workout names, workout exercises, sets/reps/rest

  • Exercise history/logs and timestamps

Where it’s stored: This information is stored locally on your device.

2.2 Device information

GymWorkoutSpinner does not intentionally collect personally identifying device information.
However, standard mobile operating system functionality (iOS) may provide us limited technical information if you contact support (for example, if you email us and include device/OS details).

2.3 Notifications data

If you allow notifications, the App may schedule and display notifications for workout/rest reminders.

  • Notification permission: You can allow or deny notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

  • Push notifications: If the App uses push notification delivery services (e.g., Apple Push Notification service or Expo push services), those services may process device tokens needed to deliver notifications. We do not use these tokens to identify you personally.

3) How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide the App’s core functionality (creating workouts, spinning for exercises, saving your progress)

  • Send workout/rest reminders if you opt into notifications

  • Respond to support requests you send us

We do not sell your personal information.

4) Data Storage and Security

  • Your workout and gym data is stored locally on your device.

  • We take reasonable steps to help protect information, but no method of storage is 100% secure.

5) Sharing of Information

GymWorkoutSpinner does not share your workout data with third parties because it is stored locally on your device.

Service providers (notifications)

If push notifications are used, delivery may involve third-party infrastructure such as:

  • Apple Push Notification service (APNs)

  • Potentially Expo push notification services (if applicable)

These services may process technical data required to deliver notifications (e.g., device tokens). They are not provided your workout history content for advertising purposes by us.

6) Data Retention

Because data is stored locally:

  • Your data remains on your device until you delete it within the App (if such functionality exists) or uninstall the App.

  • Uninstalling the App generally removes locally stored App data from the device.

7) Children’s Privacy

GymWorkoutSpinner is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.

8) Your Choices and Rights

You can:

  • Control notifications in Settings at any time

  • Delete the App to remove locally stored data from your device

If you contact us requesting deletion of information, please note we may not be able to access or delete data that only exists on your device.

9) International Users

If you use the App outside your country, your device and notification services may process data in other countries as part of normal operation.

10) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Effective date” above and may provide additional notice within the App or app listing where appropriate.
